As an organization with four full-time staff members and four full-time summer students, volunteers get involved in almost every aspect of our work. We were started by a group of passionate volunteers and volunteers continue to play an important role in our operations and impact today.
Network with people and organizations who are fired up about sustainability in Niagara. Help plan and run events, communicate directly with businesses, lead other volunteers, and gather twice a month with staff.
Get career-related experience in event planning, marketing, carbon management, sustainability, policy, member development, or your area of interest.
Our current Board of Directors is made up of senior level-professionals, academics, and members of the Carbon Project. Each board member is an advisory expert for a divisional area within the organization. This includes assisting and guiding volunteers working in their area.
